The native Carbon SWT implementation appears to be working with the 32-bit Preview Release Mac OS JDK, without X11. This is the first step towards running SWT applications like Eclipse.
The SwingWT project provides an implementation of most of the Swing API, using SWT to provide native graphics. While it's not a production solution, I thought it'd be fun to show a quick Hello, World demo with native Swing widgets, using SwingWT.
